004: Your CHALLENGES are where you GROW 🌱

Your CHALLENGES are here for you to overcome!

The way you think about the challenges in your life is a big indicator of what is possible for you! In today's episode of Do Life Big, I talk about how you should run TOWARD your challenges, not AWAY from them.

These times of challenge are hardship are those crucial moments where, if you stay open-minded, you can have the BIGGEST breakthroughs and personal growth!

For example, when I started my first business a little over eight years ago; I was in a situation where I had left my teaching job to raise my two kids, and my husband and I had gotten ourselves into over $35,000 of credit card debt 💳, and climbing each week. We had completely drained our savings account. I had to do something different to address this challenge. Instead of just retreating and returning to work and putting my kids in daycare, I was determined to find a way to make it work.

I started that business in little slivers of time in my day - during a nap, in the car, after my kids went to bed. And I built a business that not only ended our rough financial situation but opened up many new doors and opportunities. That would never have happened if I hadn't faced the challenge!

I talk in this episode all about how to reframe your challenges, and identify the opportunities within them. And that every problem has a solution.

Stick around to the end, because I also share my list of TOP DOS and DONTS when it comes to staying in a positive headspace around your challenges and hurdles!
